Digital Models Digital Model from Early Modern Treatises
This page presents the digital models developed within WP05, which transform early modern military architecture treatises into interactive and comparable models. Each model reconstructs, in a three-dimensional and parametric form, the geometric and construction rules described in the historical sources, allowing users to explore fortification systems through an interactive web interface. Based on shared criteria, the models also enable comparison between different European traditions, offering a new perspective on the analysis of fortified heritage.
